Each of these teams have played 6 of the same opponents.

The average score for W.Va. for the 6 was 31 to 29.  Of the 6, they played 3 of them on the road with an average score of 29 to 33. They also won 4 of them S/U ,and they covered 3 of the 6. Also ATS on the road they are 3-1 covering at Maryland ,Rutgers and Cincy ,no cover at Cuse.

The average score for USF for the 6 was 23 to 28. Of the 6 ,they played 2 of them at home with the average score of 29 to 35. They also only won 1 of the 6 S/U ,and covered only that 1.Also ATS at home they are 2-4 covering at Flordia A&M and Ball St ,not covering at UTEP ,Cincy ,Miami Fl ,and Louisville.

I'll go with Mountaineers and Geno  GLTA

I love this action on WVA. Isn't it kinda obvious vegas knows something here? Ranked team vs non ranked team with a worse record only giving 1.5? Yea, FLORIDA BABY.

Ace and Viet make a very good point. I'm not a college cappers like Irish, Sharp and BD and many many others who I been followed.

Looking at the past years, the home team does make a different in the advantage of the 2 teams. In 2009 WVA is ranked 20th and still lost @ SF.

So far no one posted "Lock" or "Trap" and we still days away from Thursday Night Light. Let wait and see how the money and the line movement is like.

Could be a trap here, something is wrong with the line, IMO.  WVA is the better team.  More research needed !

I'm guessing this has something to do with the line being so low:

USF has fared well at home against West Virginia, winning the past two meetings between the teams in Tampa. On both occasions the Mountaineers came to town nationally ranked, as they will Thursday (No. 20 in the USA Today coaches poll, No. 22 in the AP Top 25, and No. 23 in the BCS rankings).

it seems to me that its pretty even on whos taking who. people are on w.va cuz there the better team, and s.fl cuz there home. ill take the better team any day over a home team especially when w.va is playing for a better bowl. they lose this game out of top 25 and headed to a crappy bowl. w.va by 7+...gl all

WV -1.5 for sure.  Yes, WV lost @ USF in the past when WV were ranked but if you've looked at the record, the years USF won, they did pretty good.  This USF team has the worst record in the last 6 years.  If Vegas is using old records to give out spread, I will take this ranked WV versus a very bad-year USF anytime.  Also, you can't comfortably use past years' matches to cap a game anyways.

WV -15 Medium play

traditionally a home team series...but im going to buck that trend here...played s. fla a few times this year...and there just not right...not predicting any fireworks here...but think w.virginia does just enough late in the game...to get the w as well as the cover....glta..

Yup, Vegas doesn't know how to cap games.  Stupid fools are still using last year's match-up.  Good thing we're all smarter than that.

I've looked at this game from every angle, and can't sniff out any reason that WV shouldn't win convincingly.  But there's something somewhere that makes Vegas want us all on West Virginia.  So I'm going to clench my teeth and take da Bulls just because I like being on the same side as the books.
