#2 Posted: 11/22/2011 12:20:17 AM would never make a non-bowl game a game of the year... but as far as the regular season goes, Stanford is GOY material here!
people are clueless when it comes to betting ND games... they are out of their league, and to be playing it on the road, they are screwed! yes, they are better than recent years, but as far as i'm concerned, they are playing a BCS bowl opponent... and i know that coming into any year, one of my greatest wishes is for ND to get into a BCS bowl so i can bet the house against them!
ND beats up on weak teams... plays to the level of all opponents that are slightly better or slightly worse... and gets their fools handed to them by elite teams...
if Stanford comes to play, 6.5 points should not be a problem...

#4 Posted: 11/22/2011 2:09:26 AM I'm on stanford here, I saw the line and I immediately put $500 -6.5, I saw nd vs. bc, they don't look good, Stanford should win by 17, but we'll see, that's why its called gambling! Go Cards! |

The main process of winning in gambling is capping the games and determining your own personal lines. Then matching them up with the posted odds. When you find disparities, those are your personal best choices to bet. If you grade the game at Stanford -8 and see the line is -6.5...you don't tuck tail and think your guess is wrong and must be missing something the 'big boys' know. lol The line is set for the books best attempt to pull in even money. There's no such thing as a good gambler not believing the selections he chooses are superior to the posted line? That's how it's done. |

#15 Posted: 11/26/2011 4:49:40 AM Be careful with Stanford. They have nothing to play for as witnessed last week against CAL. They are not even in contention for the PAC title, so again little to play for. I hate ND and would never put money on them against a better team; however, in this situation I'm laying off. The over (58) looks good though. |

#18 Posted: 11/26/2011 12:34:55 PM I think if one were to go against Lou Holtz and his partner Mark May this year...you would walk away with some heavy pockets...they are the worst, especially May

#20 Posted: 11/26/2011 2:38:50 PM anybody who thinks Stanford has nothing to play for, apparently does not understand the CFB system that is currently in place...
they are playing for a BCS bowl... that's kind of a big deal these days...

#25 Posted: 11/26/2011 7:05:14 PM Mark May tells the truth! Problem is people can handle the truth! He's way better than Lou Holtz. |
