#2 Posted: 2/28/2012 2:11:17 PM Think we see JJ as the opening fav, with Carl right there with him....Value wise, we should see a decent # on Newman.....
I will look to start some open parlays tonight to finish off with JJ and Carl for sure.

#5 Posted: 2/28/2012 2:55:52 PM early leans to the 99 and AJ. I'll put some $$ on AJ before practice as he Q's really well in Phoenix. If my read is good and AJ Q's really well, the early odds will be a fond memory. And, he's in Kurt's equipment which runs decent in the desert for what that's worth. |

#6 Posted: 2/28/2012 6:07:12 PM Newman is money here.
4 straight top 10's and a win I believe.
Like Smoke as well if we can get some value.

#11 Posted: 2/28/2012 7:31:56 PM I like denny psm, thought he had a shot at the 500, looked like he could do whatever he wanted out there! Yes jimmie should rebound this week, not real big on burton. I just got a gut feeling on jacks cars this week. Thought penske would b stronger but ill have to wait and see at upcoming tracks!

#12 Posted: 2/28/2012 7:33:26 PM Kouz,
I think the outside line killed Denny.
Plus the fact it would've been neear impossible to beat the 16/17 the way they hooked up and how quickly.
I just liked the way Burton ran yesterday..
I do agree Jack's boys will be strong and since im a huge Biff guy everyone knows im always on them |

#14 Posted: 2/28/2012 7:49:11 PM only 44 on the sprint cup entry list i have a feeling there might b more start and parks then last yr... the n.wide field is very strong this weekend.. just a few names i remember kasey, kevin, kyle, denny, brad ,joey lines shouldn't b that bad with all those names.. think my top3 this week r kahne, jimmy, and denny. sleeper picks 4 me ryann and joey think joey has 2 have a good yr. and win a race or 2 or he could b in trouble... |

#17 Posted: 2/28/2012 8:12:22 PM stats, that must have been a blast over there last night.....wish I went. If you got back at 3:45, I probably wouldn't have gotten back till 5 AM.....Agree with Logano, think he has a nice year and wins atleast 1 race and challeges for the chase....
Going to grab some high odd guys when the lines come out for sure, but going to want to watch practice and that too..

#19 Posted: 2/28/2012 11:10:54 PM I talked to my professional handicapper (my girlfriends Dad who raced sprint cars for 25 years...lol). The guy turned a profit in 30 of the 36 races last year.
He loves newman and kahne. The other guy to keep an eye on he said is Jeff Gordon. Says the Hendrick boys are really going to be going for a win to get back after the disasterous finishes of last week. Kyle Busch might be a guy to look at. Toyota's looked strong, and Kyle might have some good matchups in some of the books. Also, there was bad fog that put some of the teams and drivers a little behind getting out of Daytona and to Phoenix. He said look for an edge on the teams that have been together for a while and know the setup on the car for that track. Maybe look to fade against drivers on new teams. Looking at going against Bowyer, Kurt Busch, and especially Logano if there are juicy matchups. Of the guys on new teams, he likes Allmendinger to have a nice showing...dinger likes that track and is in the best equipment he's been in his entire career.
Jeff Burton had to be the most unlucky driver last year. It seemed like every race he was in some kind of crash. Who knows if the luck follows him this year, or if he shook the bug and has all the luck on his side this year. Something to look at.
