Just watched the first from SA.  If you watch races for a living or otherwise you might (or might not) have picked up the effort of the 61-1 Reachforthebucks.

Horse was seemingly in 'tough', raced just one week ago.  Flores sat the horse last, unasked, had the whole field in front of him into the lane.  He never uncocked the whip, and the horse closed very well on his own, sub-24 final quarter, to finish 7th.

Interesting...let's see where he appears next.  Would expect a quick turnaround, again, and a class drop.

For anyone that reads this, and doubt any will, I'll put in print what I think about BC races wagering.

Historically, I've wagered very little on the BC races.  I find them, simply, too difficult.  Too many factors to judge.  Trying to decipher between bad horses is tough enough...trying to decipher between good ones is impossible.

With that said, if one is prone to play, or has a great opinion and wants to back it up financially, I would suggest opening the wallet and spreading as much as possible in pick 3s.

Ya know, it doesn't hurt to watch and not wager.
