no play.  i always check equibase.com for changes and they did NOT show the 5 as scratched.  drf has him as scratched.

thanks 315.  no play.  the 3 will be 2/5.  i think he's overrated but this field sucks.

race 5

11

15/1 ml.  0.25/0.25/0.50.  recency, pace, pattern.  distance/stamina a major question mark for all so the reality is we have no idea if this guy or any of them will fire at this distance.  this guy should be right on or off the clip and have a chance to make something happen.  i'll take a swing for the fences with one unit.

race 6

4

8/1 ml.  0.50/0.50.  recency, pattern, pace, distance.  didn't get to strut her stuff last out in a toughie at Longchamp got blocked a couple times maybe she gets to let it loose here and gets a better trip.  a couple bad trips in fact and a jock switch now.  8/1 worth a shot for me we might not have seen the best she has yet.  showed some pace interest a couple furlongs out twice before and i don't see much early zip here you could see her fairly close when they get to the half mile pole.

race 7

3

15/1 ml.  0.25/0.25/0.50.  late speed, distance, stamina.  i see the 1, 2, 5, and 8 all likely to play with each other up front and the 1, 5, and 8 never been around two turns.  baffert's chalkie the 2 got a very, very, very cozy trip last out and has never popped a fig above 88.  maybe they all beat each other up a bit and it opens it up for someone rolling late.

obviously this 3 has never been on dirt we all know that.  two spins in Louisville since the last and he ships her and he's 18% in graded stakes so he must feel good about it.  only one way to find out.

race 8

8

6/1 ml.  0.50/0.50.  recency, late speed, pattern.  really perked up in her last two and last time on firm green she beat a very solid field of eleven at Longchamp at this distance (about*).  pattern of rounding into top gear here.  very tough field after you toss a couple helpless bombs so no walk in the park here.  the 10 might be a freak and if she is i will move on.  the 4 and a couple others look tough but not invincible.  shades on today prolly not waiting around much after they hit the 3/8ths pole.

race 9

5

3/1 ml.  w only.  1.50.  pattern, pace, recency, trainer.  all grown up now and 2nd off a paid workout where she rocketed to her highest fig ever.  thought about getting crazy but just 1.50 units.  either she wins or she doesn't and life goes on.

race 10

no straight play.  looks like either 2, 7, or 8 and maybe the 6 and all will get the vast majority of cash in the win pool.  i don't see value because they all rate very close to each other according to my capping so i am flipping a coin between four 2/1 shots.  will sit and watch if alive in my pick 4.

the chalkie never went beyond 7F and never around two turns but of course everyone is smarter than the world and they pound her in a 14 horse field.

race 7 damn they are hammering that 3

a little shocked the 5 is 6/1.  i think they are fading because they saw her have to go neck and neck to the wire in a G1 with only three other horses and the race only got a 78 fig.

damn IF and I mean IF beholder can get two turns that 5/1 in the rear view mirror would look pretty juicy.
