Keenland     rc2.......#2  wp.. mai tai mama.........3/1 ml

ran last on aug 19......1m on turf....finished 3rd......tried wiring the field and got caught late.......post 13 definitely took its toll also to make the lead and stay..
today cuts back to 7f......change of venue and surface.....starts from the inside ...post 2
i'm expecting a solid run today after sharp training leading up to this race.


Bored...figure i'll start the action early...

Hawthorne   rc4.........#9  wps....razzo succo.........6/1 ml

this one is more on the tricky side......hasnt raced since july 21 when 4th at 7f.
jock last out had him on a dead rail and he closed well once moved on the outside...so the extra distance is definitely a plus........barn expected big things last out also......their looking to recoup today.........works haven't been that great but we'll see.

last out sept 5 in the c.e.r.f stakes.......mike smith to bejarano today
getting an extra 1/2 f...........although the works don't suggest it, I believe he is rounding into form........hate that he starts from the 11 post but other than that ,think he'll give it a good go.

last out sept 16 at Fairplex.........ran 3rd......a solid effort where he was prominent early on the rail........I like the extra dist he has to work with today.....7f to 1 1/16.

last out sept 6th at Laurel..........same dist ...slight drop and jockey switch today.....
looked sharp last out but bombed as the even money fav.....
had valid reason to since he stumbled at the break and lost alot of ground.....raced wide...I'll give him another shot to redeem himself

This horse should love Hawthornse long stretch, I've been waiting to play him since the program was released days ago!

Watch out Laparoux at Keenland, hes deadly here. I read where he said he does well here because the configuration of the turns are more suited to his riding style.
