inglewood 4th.  horse got roughed up a little on the break, then turned into a little box girl, then started running late.

10/1 on the board.  mcclaughlin's chalkie at 3/5 maybe he is superman and on figs he crushes.  but, 7/8ths here this 1 can bring it late.  taking a stab

churchill downs race 9

6 WP

9/2.  stacks up well versus these speed/pace/stamina combo.  edge on recency.  nothing for free here this is an extremely difficult race

churchill

4/1 winner.

edge on recency like I said.  put the shades on last out put some more early zip in her.  check the PPs firing good figs going a full mile.

speed/pace/stamina.

true story:  I keep looking at my PPs and asking myself why the darn is she 9/2?

NYRA 4th.  liked at 4/1 not so much at 2/1.  it is what it is.

dumbass velzquez gets an opening quarter in 25 and change should have just taken off at the 3/8ths pole.  the chalk gobbled them up late.

holly 3rd.

church 10

9/1 on the board.  on paper a solid amount of sizzle up front.  time to grow up for this 4YO out of War Front.  9 scares me as a bomb.  actually this is the highest quality race I have seen all of 2012 in american racing.  toughie we'll see.  chalkie is no bum that's for sure.  6 has razor sharp recency.  pletch enters this guy with raffy he likes to sizzle.  yikes!

church 5th.  horse got blocked a few times trying to find a hole.

jock Alex Solis should have recognized such a crawling slow pace earlier in the race and got in a better position.

unreal.  with all of that talent they let that little G3 miler steal this prestigious G1 at churchill????  always surprises in racing.
