The odds of the exotics Derby being chalk filled are beyond astronomical.
Presuming Trinneberg runs his race as expected, any horse within 4 lengths will have set near fractional records. Thus, the closers and midpack horses with the speed advantage will be coming off a 4-multi length pace.
Counting on the horses you listed above to be able to all avoid traffic difficulties and hit the trifecta/superfecta will be much higher odds than the projected payout for a chalk derby.  |
