IMO, there isnt one dude that dominates like BEE did in College Football or like JFOX in the NFL . But heres what I do....

I make my initial pick and then I see if the regulars are on it.  And then I see if the majority is on it....Covers bloodbath rages regularly when everyone is on one team ( hence Lightning today )

One Thing Ive noticed when comparing the NHL forum to the NFL is that most cappers only post their pix and dont give reasoning or explanation as to why!  That IMO is what is lacking from this being an ever better NHL FORUM.

Disagree completely. There are much better handicappers in this forum than the two you listed. One is a one hit wonder in one sport and the other doesn't keep a record when he loses. The NHL forum has the cream of the crop hanidcappers on this website imo.

As for explanations, what is there to explain this early in the season? It's a complete crapshoot. Guys like Polar Bear and Amd will give you a better writeup than anyone on this site. Just ask.

And please don't start with the bloodbath bs, that belongs in the NBA forum where all the little kids are.

Good luck.

Also keep in mind its the beginning of the season. Anything can happen this early on. Pick and choose your spots. I always try to play a few plays and it ends up not happening lol.

Wow, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Not sure what I said to offend you. Good luck with your wagers.

Sorry about that, was with my 1 year for 11 hours today. I thought you called me a kid...Now that I reread, I see that you didnt. My Fault..Apologies

I like to believe that in general we are all part of the so called PUBLIC.  Im not refering to a Covers Bloodbath in terms of something demeaning or bad. Its just an expression that means that most people ( public ) took a beating.

Today most were on Lightning. I thought the Islanders had a great shot. No one could explain why Lightning were so good...Only that Stamkos is the man!  That didnt fare to well and booya...Isles win.

Another one would have been the Bruins...No one was on the Jets..Including myself!

ALL THE BEST!

Bashing J Fox is crazy the guy was nothing but MONEY all NFL season who care what his loss record is he hits so many wins it doesnt matter .Regular season he was as hot as Colin Coward .. .PURE Money

It doesnt pay following someone who just posts picks with no insight most of those guys are just taking picks from other places and posting them .not capping them. I love when I get a insight to compare.

Jfox had the best writing...Sometimes two pages.

I feel the NHL forum doesnt have that.

In college football only a few times Fox, Charlotte and BEE were on opposite sides.  It was tough to decide who to follow

I have a friend who says next years Bowl games, he will blindly follow BEEs and Fox Picks for 1000$

BEE has been on fire for 2 seasons now in Bowl games and I believe he is 9-3 in the NFL Playoffs.

Cheers

No one around here needs to explain sh*t to anybody, tail or fade at your own risk. (Handshake)

Except in rare cases(proven long term winners), posting picks without write-ups don't mean darn all.

With that being said, NHL is a tough sport to cap...underdogs and + juice is the way to go.

If your looking to blind tail, Polar Bear and Hitterno are solid for NHL..but you won't really find any good write ups in this forum.

Thats true I find more fans of teams in hockey posting . This forum should definatley follow siuit and start posting more writeups .Ijust a line or 2 doesnt have to be 2 pages ,a couple of good matchups is all anyone is looking for.

Just my $.02...if you have to read a write up before you make your play you shouldn't be gambling. Football write ups are a lot different then hockey. Sometimes stats and trends are just readily available and you go off how a team is playing. Sometimes you just go by how they look or what history tells up about certain matchups.

There is a guy here named Scullnorucci who is the best NHL capper in the east and west.

Go to Website Promotions.  You will find someone there with an amazing, undocumented record in any sport you care to wager on.
