Boston is starting to get it together but I think schedule wise this just works out best in Utahs favor...they did look like garbage against the Raptors but I think they play a solid road game tonight before getting lit up in Philly...whats that triangle called on the east coast again? Boston is playing their 3rd in 5 nights, coming home off a 2 game roadtrip, with a game tomorrow in Brooklyn (tnt thursday, wanna look good in the barclays center for jay z and beyonces titties). The Jazz head to Philly on Friday...so no friggin reason for them to take tonight off. I hate that Rondo is going to be able to run freely tonight against Mo Williams & Jamal Tinsley, but they suck without KG...and I doubt he plays big minutes + theirs a chance he gets in foul trouble against the physical and deep utah bigs. Anyways, hopefully Utah plays with some intensity tonight. If they do, I hope they hang in there.
trend for this game...teams off a triple OT game, played in Toronto, Canada, are 1-0 SU as underdogs and 1-0 ATS.
NEW ORLEANS +6.5
Hornets are well rested, only played 5 games so far this season. We get to see how good Anthony Davis really is tonight when he plays against Asik. I say this because Asik isn't a good offensive player, he focuses on aspects like positioning and rebounding. If he has a good game, Houston usually does well. If Davis can dominate Asik, I see the Hornets doing quite well. I love Ryan Anderson in the 4 spot here. On paper Harden should have a big game but Monty Williams is a defensive minded coach. They have had time to prepare, I think they do well. The Hornets signing Matt Carrol adds another 2/3 to their depth chart...I'm guessing Rivers ankle is worse than it appears?
trend for this game....there is none.
Thunder have finally began to put some games together...not sure what their problem was early on in the season. Memphis is playing good basketball right now but I like the interior defense of OKC to play well against the Memphis bigs. Overall, I see a match up advantage for OKC and thats why I like them here with the home crowd. The Thunder won the season series last year, 3-1. Hopefully Westbrook doesn't darn this up.
trend for this game.....do trends actually help in the NBA?
