These players they risk their own well-being
To entertain us right here on the screen
We love this great game, sometimes more than we should
Sacrifices we make, as we know that they would
The strength, the speed, the heart that they show
Is worth more than these words could possibly know
We post for the great minds who pick winners like flowers
Will we hit tonights bet? Guess we'll see in an hour
They'll score, they'll punt, then they'll score some more
When the clock strikes zero, thats when it is sure
The final score, it will always be true
You either pay the man, or make him pay you
We toast this post, for all gamblers alike
Its the life that we've chosen and its the life that we like. |
