At one time Covers consisted of intelligent people talking basketball. Now all you have is people like this moron who needs attention.
Scal....please go back to your 50,000 word write ups that no one has the time or inclination to read because you only post a winning pick at the end of it 44% of the time.
You are really beyond losing all credibility after posting this. Stop embarrassing yourself.

So this is what covers has come to:
1) Trolls bumping two month old threads in an attempt to shame the OP (a 6 month old one of mine was bumped recently too).
2)Trolls bumping two month old threads, not with a pick, but with a conditional statement ("If"), and now, if the team you were arguing against wins the game (a team you had no interest in capping and didn't even remotely address the spread against in this game), that somehow classifies as a "loss" to be shamed in the troll's mind.
3) Further, if that team, in the unique structure of March Madness wins it all, the original thread, from two months prior, without a pick and one which contained an argument against coach K with regard to a theoretical upset, then the troll above will post the thread with a rolling head, as though the OP is 'ashamed' of his theory.
Now folks, fear posting a theory because even the trolls will come after that!
And what is the theory?
That Coach K has had two of the most embarrassing losses in Duke history against lowly Lehigh and Mercer, with, and this is the key, the cream of the crop in recruiting classes, and could be considered to be past his prime IF yet another upset occurs (I wonder if posters here understand the word IF. Guess not.)
The game against Lehigh was like driving a Lamborghini in a race against a maimed donkey.
But let's ignore that...
And let's ignore the loss to Mercer...
And let's ignore the conditional statement for conversation, which turns into an attempt to shame.
Yes, that is what Covers.com has come to.
No wonder all the great cappers left. Why make company with POS like this, and that includes numerous posters above in addition to Jordan who can't even comprehend a suggestion about Coach K, as though we are to genuflect to his deity for all eternity?
Yes folks, that is what this site has become...
Incredible is it not..
P.S. It should come as no surprise I know Hugh for many a year on this site and he is among the worst and most unabashed racists who will get his licks in on black men, women and children at any and all times if the opportunity presents itself.
Yes, THAT is your Covers.com. Rub shoulders with that guy. He's the guy who will make your gambling life and life in general... better.
