#1 Posted: 6/10/2012 2:29:59 AM I took the time to take the night off to watch the fightI drove there I paid the cover Bought the food Bought the beer Watched the crap undercards Waited 45 min for Pac to warm up his calves
I wanted Pac to lose actually as I like underdogs
I saw pacman utterly pick apart the bigger stronger younger fighter round after round
Pac was faster, punched harder, had better defense, better movement, better footwork.
I was cringing time and time again thinking whatever his name was, was going to hit the canvas.
It was a totally one sided fight
Then the judges decided make a mockery of the sport
Im totally done with boxing
UFC from now on, as at least the undercard fights are sweet, and the way they do the scoring there is less chance of this crap |

My thoughts exactly..especially the part about the judges making a mockery of the sport. |

#3 Posted: 6/10/2012 2:46:49 AM The sport seems to have been dying since it's heyday in the 70s thru the 90s. I didn't watch the fight but the ESPN guru had Paquiao winning all but the 1st round.
The last thing boxing needs is a horrible decision like this. I mean I could understand if Bradley was ahead the whole fight and Paquiao won on a bad decision (i.e. for the big matchup vs Mayweather).
Damn, and I was almost going to throw a few peanuts on Bradley, and certainly thought no way something like this would happen--the champ being the one getting hosed.
Just reiterates why I don't bet "bridge jumpers" and why I don't pay to watch boxing anymore.
Sorry for your loss. |

#4 Posted: 6/10/2012 2:48:37 AM Great read.
Ya when Dana hates a dec. heads role and you see less of this insanity in the ufc.
I am with you, i had TB by dec. because the value was too good, totally mishandicapped the fight and got gifted.
This was my 1st bet on boxing since Oscar lost in april 2007 and it will be longer that 5 years probably before i enter back into fantacy land again.
Well speaking of the ufc my next HUGE bet will be on Chael Sonnen over anderson silva on july 7th and Chael is + around 230 right now, after dominating silva in every aspect of the game 2 years but losing on a hailmary in the last 2 min.
Now thats value and we know for sure Chael will not be robbed like MP was tonight, if it goes to the scorecards. Its sub or bust for anderson.

I admit the main event was entertaining, even thought it was totally one sided, and not 1 sec was pacman hurt or in trouble, where the other guy seems like he was in trouble every other round.
The under-cards were horrible. That last fight with the midget holding his ear and crying like a little girl was just dumb
Then having to wait 45 min for pac to warm up his calves
That garbage wont happen in UFC

#8 Posted: 6/10/2012 3:17:06 AM Pacquiao landed 253 of 751 punches, a connect rate of 34 percent. Bradley landed 159 of 839, a connect rate of just 19 percent |

#10 Posted: 6/10/2012 12:03:14 PM Waterboard those M'Fers! (i.e. judges.) And if that don't work, drone strike their neighborhoods! It's the American way...
However, I still don't understand why they would want Bradley to win after such a lopsided fight. Wouldn't they know that it would be a huge turnoff and that it would ultimately hurt the sport and its revenue--esp. a Paquiao-Mayweather fight.
Anyone who would buy a rematch between the Pac-Man and "Desert Storm" LOL needs to consume as many shots as takes until they die!!
