#26 Posted: 6/12/2012 5:47:15 AM I have put a HUGE wager on Chavez -275 and already -300. Honestly have put my eggs in one basket here but I am sure Chavez wins. This fight could easily be contorversial, but if Lee gets a decision in El Paso, I will choke on my losing betting slip...

If you can rule out a Lee KO (he's going to stop a light heavy?) then you're gold. However, Chavez Jr will be cutting another 20+lbs to make weight. Lee CAN crack. Could it happen. Sure. Will it? I don't think you'll need the Heimlich buddy... |

#28 Posted: 6/13/2012 12:24:16 AM Chavez while not GREAT himself, he is leagues above Andy Lee. if you have the dough.. lay the chalk on on Chavez.
I don't really see the issue with CHavez cutting weight, he's still young and he's getting lots of HELP via MEDICINE :)
I'm waiting for the chavez wins by ko/tko/ unanimous dec prop!
Better question is when is Chavez going to have a REAL FIGHT?
Good luck to whoever you wager!

Chavez is in shape. He posted twitter pics last week, ripped. wonder how a fat chubby guy all of a sudden gets ripped, while not getting tested in his last fight. |

Chavez is GARBO. Went lift and death with Zbik and Zbik got mauled by Sturm recently.
Chavez is a TERRIBLE fighter who is on steroids and has a 20lb weight advantage on his opponents.
Lee has tons of amatuer exp, good skill set, tall, rangy southpaw, good power both hands, I don't see how Chavez can beat him. |

a -300 and "The easiest play of the year" could easily have a controversial outcome?
the last thing i want to hear when i have all my eggs in one basket on a -300 favorite is the word "controversial."
thats the kind of word i want to hear when im backing a +300 underdog. |

as in Lee boxes well but gets robbed. I hedged the draw just in case....I have ALOT on this fight so not to cover myself with the draw prop is silly. Lee might (MIGHT) win the fight. No well in hell he Chavez loses this decision. Add the fact Pacman another Arum fighter was just robbed, honestly I have put essentially (between two bets) a Mortgage on this...No kidding

id say im rooting for you but im probably going to be on the other side.
nice hedge on the draw.
i think that the most signifigant factor is if lee can stand in the pocket and successfully counter right cross chavez's left hook to the body. he is going to land the straight left, chavez and company know that.
its the counter right that will change this fight.
its the punch that essentially kod mcewan.

#35 Posted: 6/16/2012 7:22:25 PM Chavez Jr wins by any decision +160 :) (via 5dimes) Really like this play.
For a smaller play Adamek wins by 12 round decision +135, fight is in Jersey, Chambers will have to win by a large margin to get the decision.
Good luck to everyone,
