The one thing I think many fighters (if they have the ability and focus and work ethic) was take advantage of Chavez's top abilities. He had many, to me was the fact that he used his energy to precision and never had to throw a wasted punch. A common flaw with fighter's today. Studying game theory, for every action you take you their must be a justifiable (strategic) reason. Boxing is no different, so your game plan sometimes may adjust as your opponent adjust.

and his success showed. He was mentally tougher than most (Marquez today), but his speed, power, etc... physical attributes were just above normal. Yet a perfect game plan is mostly what he did. For every fighter, he would be in my top elite to study as he did it without physical superiority.
