Love both girls. Both with same style of play and both with same style of emotional outburts. Marina has upped her game recently (which she does in a very inconsistent way) and is fighting for every point on her serve and opponents serve. She beat a fairly talented but emotional shelby rogers a couple of days ago, but beat her in a convincing way. Bojana is always Bojana. She needs to be losing to win (if that makes sense) I love when shes backed against the wall, because her talent really comes out and the ground strokes and baseline thumpers really come to life. But again, how long will it take for her to wake up? And if it's too long, an opponent like Marina (who already beat her this year) can take advantage of her.
Tough call to make. Marina was +106 yesterday and now a -108 while Bojana is -114.
Gasquet/Nishikori
Gasquet 4-0 h2h and all this "he's still ecovering from back injury" talk is just "soooo last month". Gasquets form is slowly coming back to what he once was and although he may just want to conquer washington before playing sloppy in the next 2 weeks to get prepared for US OPEN.
Gasquet ML +115
Johnson/Raonic
Milos is a beast. I love how classy this guy is and how he's made it this far, silently... He's still got a while to go against top competitors, but he's slowly turning his game on in every competition. Johnson also a great atp250/500 player. He plays well in these kind of tournaments at home with the buzz surrounding him. His service game is a little less weaker than raonic's, but he still can do some damage. The only problem I have here picking steve as a big dog is his rallies. I think Milos has an edge here, but don't like that Toronto is down the street. Who knows what kind of Milos we will get
Pospisil/Giraldo
I think Giraldo wins. Both similar type of players. Giraldo back in his stride now from being away from the hard courts for a while. First one to get broken loses.

Just wanted to say thanks for your input. I am new to tennis so don't have many of my own opinions but I appreciate posters like you in the forums that take the time to explain their thinking and are positive.

Normally I never back gascan and his other French associates, but + money has me tempted. Maybe take a stab at johnson? He beat two power servers, ivo and isner, could raonic be next? Milos is the most well rounded of the power servers, but he might be looking ahead to Toronto like you said.
