I would be very careful with this match-up.
Klizan is only 3-8 on the season and is playing his 1st clay match of the season. Also last season was when Klizan was playing his best tennis.... is not playing at near the same level right now.
Volandri is a natural born dirt baller. His whole career has been built on his play on it. Volandri has played a lot on clay this season and has played 4 matches on these courts...big advantage.
Klizan is the more talented player...but is known to go off the boil and have a lot of errors. Volandri is good at giving people enough rope to hang themselves.
Am not playing it but would lean Volandri ...good luck 
Houston should be Almagro's tourney to win/lose. Would be surprised if he didn't win it. Isner isn't back to full form yet so I can understand the temptation... Sock is an unknown on clay .... believe the first round match is his only match on the surface. Hard to know what to expect from him.
Alund is the better clay courter right now. Ginepri has had a decent result on clay since the 2010 French. The faster conditions should help...but hard to go against Alund here
