The first round of the ATP tournament in Canada, Toronto, brings us face to face two totally different players, Carlos Berlocq, a recognized Argentine clay, and a Cypriot, Marcos Baghdatis, with the area's favorite hard on the surface takes place and this meeting. The two have met once before in 2004 in a Challenger tournament, Baghdatis then needed to be in minimum sets 6-4 6-4. Both participated in the Olympics, Berlocq was eliminated in the first round by Bogomolov 7-5 7-6 while Baghdatis reached the round 3 where Murray was eliminated 4-6 6-1 6-4, the same player to eliminate at Wimbledon. Even if Baghdatis starts as favorite in this meeting clearly believe that Argentina can cover the handicap of 4.5 games. Baghdatis has 9-6 hard in 2012 while Berlocq is only 3-4.
