#1 Posted: 6/27/2012 12:52:44 AM Can someone explain to me why Gulbis is only -150 against this clown? I know he's a total headcase and can lose to anyone, but we know he's as talented as anyone on tour and it looked like his head was screwed on right vs Berdych. Why should I not pound this? Seems too easy so I'm skeptical. |

#5 Posted: 6/27/2012 3:32:08 PM berdych is the biggest box on tour to lose to gulbis
then gulbis loses to a garbage player
fixed tennis at its best
wait, its more players not giving a darn then tennis being fixed
its not a let down, its called being too laid back, not giving a darn, not giving 100%, not concentrating, when you beat a top 10 player then lose to a 100+ ranked player
these friggin players are spoiled, every friggin one of them
they have no heart, no desire, no concentration! |

Jano is far from a garbage player, young gun with a big serve, he is dangerous.

#8 Posted: 6/27/2012 4:18:27 PM had Gulbis -2 and pushed even though he lost. Almost got it at -1.5 before they added a half gae in which case I would have won the spread even as he lost the match. Damn Gulbis you almost hooked me up with the least deserving bet I would have won in my life! I read his press release and thought perhaps with his new coach he had turned the corner. The JJ guy played well as I had read he was last round also. Might be a talent. Gulbis did not tank at least--he was genuinely beat today. But yeah obviously he had a big letdown from the Berych match. If I was Berdych I would be pised right now that this dude maxed out and played top 5 to KO me only to lose to a challenger the next round.
Bookies and public and sharps were all over this one. He dropped from -200 to -130 at my book initially.

#12 Posted: 6/27/2012 9:29:35 PM Im only allowed to comment on matches I have posted plays on? I have given out plenty of picks thus far. Whomade you board nazi? Maybe if you left your house once in the last 3 yrs and stopped posting on Covers for 5 mins you wouldn't be so concerned with such mundane nonsense?
Professional board gustapo. |
