#1 Posted: 6/14/2012 6:43:09 PM Raonic ML plus all the associated spread, over games, and tie break yes props once they get released,,, so far I only have ML +300
Both matches played in 2012 have been very tight,,,extremely impressed with Raonic's poise vs roger,,,I can only hope his serve is truly unbreakable on the grass and have federer play another ho hum type match like he did today vs Mayer,,, if I see this going according to this week's script, roger will have very little motivation to really win this match other than pride,,,which in no way am I saying he won't have tomorrow,,,but from a Wimbledon big picture point of view, roger will likely be stuck in the #3 ranking spot regardless of this weeks and next results,,,so motivation for him is really only to get some quality match time on the grass and not over exert himself going into the big one already knowing what he needs to work on his grass game,,,raonic is an eager young hungry kid looking to learn from his recent past matchups with roger and achieve his desired career signature victory vs a top 5 player.
Too bad Milos didn't have the foresight to enter the other event in Halle,,,likely an easy cruise into the finals there based on an easier field....but credit to him for not shying away from the big boy event

#2 Posted: 6/14/2012 6:51:32 PM will come down to tiebreaks no doubt and Milos is 24-12 in tiebreaks this year compared to 15-10 for Fed.

#8 Posted: 6/14/2012 10:46:38 PM Raonic has won the first set in the previous 2 match-ups. Raonic first set might be the better bet as beating Roger on grass is not an easy proposition.
I think the motivation is there for Roger... he will want to play well and send a message to the Wimby field. He knows Raonic is a contender and certainly will not be happy with anything other than a win.
Fed is 37-4 lifetime at Halle ... I can understand the love for Raonic but don't see Roger losing this without dropping the first set. |

#9 Posted: 6/14/2012 11:04:02 PM Sparty Very good point regarding fed,,,another angle here motivation wise would be for roger to go all out this week, Potentially give rafa a good battle in the final and take next week off
Raonic to win first set +225 will definitely make my card tomorrow...he typically comes out very solid with his service games in the first set,,,and can get a bit sloppy early in the second set where he's much more vulnerable in his first service game of the second set ( that monaco match recently was hard to swallow)

looks like it's safe, can't see Raonic breaking back without a Fed meltdown.

it was either an exit against Kohl or next round against Berdych/Haas. Nadal has to switch up his tank spot next year, too many QF exits after the French is looking suspicious
