#1 Posted: 3/6/2012 9:30:38 AM Off to Doral for the WGC-Cadillac Championship. As far as scoring goes, this is the easiest of all courses on the Florida swing. As far as hitting fairways and greens, it's one of the hardest! So scoring will be done on the greens with the putter. Another factor to mention, is the wind! It will be blowing again this week and good wind players will have an advantage.
Good Luck!! |

I'm hoping my local gives me at least 10-1 on Phil and 18-1 DJ |

I give them both Top 10's....but I doubt either one of them wins though...I give Phil a better chance than DJ for sure. |

Thanks, but no thanks. I have a hard enough time keeping up with this thread from week to week. There's no way I'd be able to fit your blog into my schedule. Though I am flattered that you would ask me.

What would you say are the most important parameters this week? Putting, GIR and birdie conversion maybe? Maybe scrambling as well as it is hard to hit the greens? Among others I have bet on David Toms at 140/1, he is a great putter and puts a lot of birdies on the board, while holding it together pretty good around the greens too. Also found pretty good value in Ben Crane at 170/1, also great with the putter and definitely has the ability to win in a strong field. Think Snedeker is a reasonable bet as well for pretty much the same reason as the other two at 90/1 although he is not experienced at this course. Also gave Laird a shot at 90/1, performed well here last year, and he can really string birdies together even if it's windy. |

#16 Posted: 3/8/2012 1:50:28 AM @Aj thnx for the thread! Eldrick vs Rors---WOW !
Eldrick +110 At a coarse he owns. Have you ever seen so much value?
Rors has to have an emotional let down this week after reaching the top! And you know THE BIG CAT knows he's a dog! I say watch out for the kill!
Have heard anything about the valdalized greens? How much could that factor in? |

#23 Posted: 3/8/2012 10:05:26 PM The winds really pick up in the afternoon today and some of the guys began to struggle. According to the weather report, it should be more of the same tomorrow but a few MPH less.
