* North Korea/United States total over 2.5 goals (minus-125) ... 15 units
Analysis: This match is listed as a Pick'em, with North Korea a decent minus-180 favorite on the line. Bottom line, the USWNT is gifted a Pick'em on name recognition alone. This is not a good team, but in contrast, North Korea is one of the best in the world in the age group. Expect both teams to come out blazing and North Korea to pull out a 2-1 victory at a minimum. Mallory Pugh will get the lone goal for ththe United States.
I will also have a play on the other semifinal as well.

I've been watching this tourney and what he says about Korea and US are both correct. Korea has been by far the most dominant team but are susceptible to opponents getting on the score sheet. US, aside form Pugh have not looked solid.

I am playing the total to start and going in-game once I see what is going on the first 15 minutes. It sounds like the U.S. is going to attack from the start and try to put North Korea on its heels.
What leads me to the over total is the fact Spain, which is mediocre at best, took North Korea to overtime after a 2-2 draw through regulation. North Korea won, 3-2, due to the fact they're probably the most fit team (along with Japan) in this field and the weather conditions are horrific in Papua New Guinea.
The U.S. is better than Spain, but I don't trust North Korea to win this in regulation on a three-way play after its quarterfinal squeaker, hence I am staying away from the plus-105 three-way line and the juice is too high at minus-180 on the Pick'em line.
I give the U.S. a minimum of a goal in this match simply because they have the best player on the field and one of the three best in the entire tournament in Mallory Pugh. She is a regular with the senior USWNT and is the saving grace of this team.
Problem is, North Korea is technically and tactically so much better than the U.S. And the U.S. should be out as it is. Mexico obliterated the U.S. for 81 minutes and gave up two atrocious goals deep in the second half, including one in stoppage time to lose the game.

Thanks, Nole. Bottom line, the world has caught the wonder girls better known as the USWNT. If we are being honest, we might have the fifth-best team at this tournament and I am probably being generous since we should have lost to Mexico.
If I rank these teams, I go Japan, North Korea, France, Germany and Mexico. Sweden, Brazil and the United States the next best.

If you are up even later, watch Japan play France. They are the two most tactical teams in the tournament. And I have never seen a team as organized and dominant than Japan at this level in my life. Basically play with 10 midfielders and a goalkeeper. Unreal to watch and what they did to Brazil was perfection.

Side note: Of all the goalkeepers left in the field, the U.S. goalkeeper is the absolute worst. Irony? She's the tallest and covers more ground than any of the others. Directly to blame for the last three goals the U.S. has conceded.

Analysis from opening 15 minutes: This game is wide open. Both with chances on goal to opening scoring. North Korea dangerous on the counter. Pugh is the star for the US (as usual), with some solid play from Fox on the left flank and the playmaker Sanchez.

On comes the best 16-year-old player in the world for North Korea. Sim led North Korea to the U-17 Women's World Cup title earlier this year and was brought in directly from that tournament.
