I have to back the team that I picked to win it all this tournament. They were a tad rusty versus Portugal but this German team has it all in my opinion. Holland that I chose not to get out of the group might just crash out today, outside of their forwards Germany beats them in all my categories so;

I really see no distinct advantage to either side, this match can really go either way. I like how Croatia can change things up on the fly but they are suspect in quality man for man versus Italy. The Italians know they can beat up on Ireland in the last game and just need not to lose this game. Croatia already sitting on 3 points will hope to open up the Italian defence having to face Spain in the last match. The onus will be on Croatia to get a result, I think Pletikosa is a bad keeper and spills a couple today;

A must win for the poor Irish and they face the Champs Spain. I don't know what Trappatoni will cook up but it will not be enough to down the Spaniards. Sadly there is no value on the ML and even -1 is not at plus money. Spain played their 0-6-4 formation with no strikers versus Italy. The Irish will defend like a true Trappatoni team and I hope they keep it tight for the first half.
