#76 Posted: 9/28/2007 5:00:50 PM There is no question a lot of B.S. flies around the forum about many a things. But I think people are by and large honest about what they drive after reading this. Personally, I think it's kind of interesting. Cars, in some ways, are a reflection of a person's personality.
For me:
2006 Escape Limited (my daily driver....yes, it's a bit , but I need something that can pull a trailer and I'm just not a fan of the big SUV's)
2000 Mustang GT Convertable...been waiting all summer for fall...can't wait to drive the river valley here in MN.

So, you have been "rollin" in a Lexus for 3.5 years but welched on a $20 bet a little over a year ago and also started a thread on covers begging for a loan around the same time? Care to explain that? I say you're either a sorry welcher or don't have a lexus at all. |

#83 Posted: 9/28/2007 9:21:36 PM another thing, i'd rather drive a chevy or dodge PU with a lift kit and oversized tires than some fancy smancy car from europe.

#93 Posted: 9/29/2007 11:54:20 AM I bet if all posters had to prove what they say they are driving in this thread at least 50% would balk.
I know there is a lot of ppl telling the truth but there is just no way ppl aren't stretching it a little bit here. |

My response is the same: Put your person away gentlemen, please.
And no, I'm not saying that because I drive a shitty car. I have a nice car, nice house and a pretty hot wife. I was just taught to be humble about such things. Nobody likes people who brag, it's a simple fact.
There's always someone who's going to have something better than you. It's a part of life. |
