Long story short, my cell phone was receiving strange text messages containing facts about cats. This spanned a couple days and stopped. I was fumed and began an investigation. My first hunch was a disgruntled employee, but whom? The internet suggests that this is a common prank, very popular in the year 2012.
Then a break in the case when an associate complained of the same strange activity. We shared the info and the numbers and assaults were the same. We immediately identified, legs just call hi, JHB.
We grew up with him. He's a bit of a loser. He's a musician but struggles with drugs. When he's not high he's actually a good all around guy. We tried to help him even had him working for us, but eventually his lifestyle caught up with him and despite numerous chances we had to let him go.
Since then there has been some resentment, but things are good.
Anyway he's the type of fellow that if someone introduced this prank to him he would instantly find it so amusing and wish to fire away immediately.
I have not confirmed this with him as getting a face to face has proved difficult. Perhaps another reason to add to our suspicion. Regardless, I'm very certain JHB is behind this and wish to retaliate in a similar fashion.
Does anyone of a good prank?
The best I've heard is to list his name and number in Craigslist for a ridiculously low priced vehicle or rental unit.
