I never saw a single Sopranos show. I might see it on Netflix.

This STRAIGHT sucks! I am fortunate to have the whole series on DVD and am glad I do. He was really kick-butt on the Sopranos.

This is really a tragic loss for those of us that liked the show.

So to recount today there's Vince Flynn, Slim Whitman, Dave Jennings and now James Gandolfini

Not being flip here but i wasn't aware that Slim Whitman was still alive. Damn He could carry a tune.

If you like crime drama comedy mafia type stuff you owe it to yourself to check it out.Great show very well written and top notch acting.

 IMO Sopranos a fantastic show that captured myself and kept me paying attention...Gandolfini played his role so prestine

Damn this sucks

 

I literally just watched an episode tonight during dinner, and it was the one with Christopher's intervention. During the scene, Chris says to Tony, "The way you eat, you'll die of a heart attack by 50!" No kidding.

 

Just awful. R.I.P.

Wow, you might be the only one left in America.  There was a reason it was voted the number one series of all time.  Just a warning, once you start you won't be able to stop.  I've watched the series beginning to end probably 5 or 6 times by now.

That same thought crossed my mind when I read the sad news. Tony was THE BOSS of all bosses.

I've been watching it nonstop for the past 6 months on HBO Signature (I think lol) ....I DVR it every night at 8 PM and see the same episodes I've seen 4 or 5 times already. Just an incredible show. Maybe my favorite series of all time.

That one line alone exemplifies how great the Soprano's show writers were Magnificent writing( with humor too)  throughout the entire series, but I must admit some of his scenes with Dr. Melphi were the most classic...... The shrink drilling "Anthony" about his "issues"

Tony Soprano( James G) will go down as one of the most iconic TV show character  of all time
