My Dad used to refer to things being "not worth a hill of beans" if it was junk

For people my Grandma did not care for she always said "they think they are hot garbage on a cold piss"

*This thread should get quite interesting, I can't wait to hear yours!

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead.

Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow.

Do not walk beside me, either.

Just leave me the hell alone.

Was golfing here in Vegas last week.  A country boy was with us.  He said the weather was nice.  I said "Yes,  can't beat it"  He says "Yep,  Just like a sore pecker,  can't beat it!"

In all seriousness, one of the best quotes I've ever read is from Andre Gide.

"Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it."

I use this saying when someone is babbling incessantly and won't shut up.  This saying also works when you don't want to say thank you to an ingrate.

"There you go!"

I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's behind, but I'd rather take a butcher's word for it.

A favorite I found (and I've had it taped to my computer for over 15 years is:

"Integrity is doing what is right when no one else is looking."

World would be a great place if everyone heeded those words.

I like to use the saying when someone else tells you they have a problem with someone else. I clearly tell them   he or she is like hair in a drain.......meaning well i am sure you understand....

My dad's favorite saying was "I outta kick you right in the behind"
