She blatantly used that silly string garbage and sprayed it at them in addition to someone behind her throwing water.. You can talk all you want and blabber on about stupid crap but once you engage them physically, for the most part it's fairly easy for them to use force to respond within the confines of the law.. Interesting start point of video too would have liked to see about 15 seconds before that as it seems she was yelling something at the cops so I'd be curious to have seen what she did before but the water throw that put the cop over the edge wasn't from her. Don't necessarily think the cop should have hit her but can't feel too bad for her as she's up there yelling at them; she failed to follow a pretty simple concept (don't mess with the cops) and paid a price.

If you slow mo through? the video you see an unidentified person toss a form of liquid and then as the woman approaches the police says something and turns around starting to walk away. Mr Police Officer turns around, sees her with drink in her hand, ASSUMES she tossed the liquid, this video is really going to help her in her lawsuit vs the city of Philadelphia...Good luck defending this one Mayor Nutter.

In addition to the the water that was thrown. So it wasn't JUST THE WATER... The woman actually SPRAYED SOMETHING from the BOTTLE in her HAND!
