Those are some insane laws and whoever thought up laws like, should never had a chance to even be able to create those laws, because they should not be elected officials.
am sure the laws dont get enforced, but why they arent removed from law is mind boggling

What do you think are some of the most ridiculous things that are illegal in the US??
Ill start.
Texas - These are REAL
It is illegal to milk another person’s cow.
It is illegal to take more than three sips of beer at a time while standing.
Wire cutters can not be carried in your pocket.

The cow one I get... especially for dairy farmers...
But the illegal to stand like a man and take 3 sips of beer is just stupid... I mean what is it about standing like a man a drinking a beer that is so wrong to texans?
why dont they make a law that you have to sit on the toilet and cant stand like a man and piss out your beer why your at it...
could you imagine the how many counts of "3 sips" you would break if you stood and shotgunned a beer or did a beer bong? could be a felony and put you on death row in texas...
I mean even these model texans are in violation standing in the alley sipping beer...

Pretty sure most of these laws went on the books late 1800's-early 1900's and not recent implementations.
There are a lot of stupid laws that really don't apply anymore that should be repealed. For that matter there are a lot of recent stupid laws that should be repealed as well...

what about the commissions that were in place when everyone thought that wrestling was real? Chael Sonnen brings up some very good points. i believe they still have a wrestling commission in oregon. it's one thing to be dumb and laws that turn out to be mistakes, but to not do anything about it is mnid boggling. Does it cost money to repeal laws? How much would something like this cost to someone like bill gates? if none of the top 20 billiionaires in the states would ever offer to repeal these stupid laws and commissions then their kids or grandkids ought to be waiting in line for them to die and do it themselves.

To repeal outdated laws would require politicians act like grown, mature adults. Come on people we all know this is a fantasy.
If a politician did try to introduce legislation that repealed a law like the law that makes it illegal to have sex with a porcupine; his opponents in the next election campaign would make a huge issue out of the fact he/she was wasting the tax payers money worrying about who is having sex with porcupines. His/Her opponents would constantly be asking, "Do you really want a Senator whose obsessed with having sex with small animals???"
Politicians have to constantly be on guard about what they do and say that can be used against them in upcoming elects. Maybe if we had term limits and there reached a time when politicians did not have to contently be on the defensive some of our real problems could be solved...

that means some ass backwards swamp trash actually did this for that law exist.
Haha that was my initial thought with some of these laws. I want to know where they originate from and why they're on the books in the first place. That would be a much more interesting story.
