I say wait until this winter when its really friggin cold and go to Jamaica or a cruise in the Caribbean that stops at 3 or 4 places.....No reason to rush a trip. That gives you 6-8 months of having fun being married before the kids and life suck the life out of you. Plus, booking ahead might save you some money.

Nobody ever takes this advice but here goes...

San Juan, Puerto Rico... Stay on the beach and go into Old San Juan at night. The place is awesome.

I can give you the link to the hotel I stayed at and other places if it's something you'd be interested in when I'm on my regular computer in the morning.

Aruba is a safe bet as well... It lacks character though.

Congratulations.... (cheers)

Couldn't of said it any better. My wife and I got married in May and we waited til it was friggin freezing here in Nebraska to go. You get real good deals going to Jamaica in the winter months.

I went to barbados, don't recommend it. It's beautiful but people can be blah and it's REALLY expensive

Take her to Maroma Hotel on the Yucatan Penninsula near Playa Del Carmen.

Her face will fall off....so will yours.
