I can help you with that Mugg.
PAY ATTENTION BECAUSE THIS WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTION!
But don't call for heads to be chopped off in the public square for the black kids just yet!
Well let's compare shall we? Looks like the black kid in this video got it pretty bad huh! I mean, it really does look like the skin melted off his face! No one hears much about that one anymore, if they ever did in the first place.
And as suspected, what happened in the Kansas City case your referencing. We all read it on covers right! Slightly less. No check that. It's not even close.
As the video details, he got his eyebrows and eyelashes singed (not even completely burned off).
Laughably, the videos title actually works against his cause. This story DID get national attention only later to be proved not a hate crime.
The mother claims he lost his sense of smell too! Should we believe her?
It's questionable. Why? First because apparently the kid himself was never asked.
Also, because the video reveals something that will disappoint you greatly. At 1:00, it was revealed that police determined they have no reason to believe the boy's attack was a hate crime.
Sometimes the police actually do their job! Too bad this isn't Florida...
Let this post serve as a response to post #57 and #58 where I suspected the kid was allegedly 'set on fire' (singing eyebrows is a far cry from from a 'burn ward') and was gleefully called out on it by HOCKEYTEETH (don't know where you came from but nows the time to crawl back in your hole) and yet again, CROD1980 (the hole he's digging apparently wasn't deep enough). It appears eyebrows and eyelashes being singed is FAR from being the 'set on fire' story that white America ran to the high heavens with!
See what setting on fire REALLY looks like in the video in paragraph 2 and compare that to eyelashes and eyebrows. Those two white kids made sure they finished the job...
Is setting anyone on fire ok? No.
But many on here claim it's ONLY when a black kid is racially targeted for a hate crime that the national news media reports it.
Well the national media reported the alleged (now proven false) racially motivated crime far and wide when it happened.
And guess how good a job they did reporting that they have no evidence it was a hate crime...
Well the job was SO GOOD that post #57 and #58 serve as an example the average joe was with regard to the ultimate outcome of this case!
But what's remembered??? That a white kid got set on fire by two black kids and it was a hate crime and that's the end of it for most of white America. When in the end, that wasn't the case at all.
Lesson learned I hope...
