I would no joke run and live off the land if I had to. I couldn't survive being locked up that long. You're a stronger man than me if you go through with it and serve your sentence. I'd live in the woods like that guy from into the wild over prison. If I did sack up and go I'd read a ton of books and workout like a mad men every day. Good luck bro....

In all seriousness. I was in the midwest and actually couldnt believe how soft this place was. My highschool was tuffer than this place.
 Now if youre talking about some prison in California or something im sure its a different story. Alright Im out GL

1st off, if your doing time in the Feds, B.O.P can ship you anywhere in the USA.

2nd, you want to be sentenced to a low - min security penitentiary. If that's the case you'll be fine, you'll have a lot more freedom to move around. majority of inmates are going home so no one will rock the boat.

3rd, don't gamble inside because the last thing you want is someone from your family interacting with the bookie and his henchmen on the outside. you're just asking to do hard time. imagine the bookie might make a move on your wife because of an unpaid debt, plus we all know no wife will stay faithful.

4th, no matter how hard your doing time, your family is doing time as well. it's not easy for them grinding away while they are trying to pay bills. you have it easy for 79months doing jack garbage not having to worry about anything. so when you have arguments with the wife, you need to check yourself and give her a lot of slack.

What might have mattered is what kind of lawyers you had. Any way, ask them if after a certain time, you can ask the judge for a modifacation of setence, and if the answer is yes. Then thats why it's important to keep your record clean. Anyway buddy, the diff between a fed time and penitentary is night and day. Fed time is camp compaired to hard time. Which is not to say it is gonna be a picnic..

Id like to keep on cracking but I do feel bad solely for the reason you have a child...child is young enough to where you will still have plenty of time once you get out... main focus should be to stay neutral and avoid any major writeups... if u can get out 15% faster ... then do it

There are some idiots in this thread, harping on the happy garbage.

Obviously with a young son he can't go on the lamb.

You did darn up pretty badly and do deserve time behind bars, but try to make it as productive as possible. Come out with some marketable skills if possible and a degree if you can. Most importantly don't get sucked into an ongoing life on crime.

Try to make this one and done.

what a crock of garbage, a normal guy transports some processed plant matter, and has to give his life to the state in the name of paying his debt to society

meanwhile, you have a president and an entire system of fiefdom where they rob the citizenry blind and behind rape us at every turn, and they are walking free with shiny whites and expensive suits, while stepping on the working mans neck and lashing us in the back while forcing us to work for their own personal gains. unbelieveable.

Don't worry bro,  NO WAY IN HELL does this system of fiefdom and corruption keep their game going for seven more years. This country is on the verge of collapse, and when the revolution comes, we freedom fighters will certainly be setting y'all free from those human cages

then you can help us serve the lawyers, politicians, state employees, real estate agents, and banksters their comeuppance. Learn how to cook, those fat person will be supper for months.  BBQ'd lawyers
