SEC PREDICTIONS 2016:
Alright, now it's time for the 2016 SEC predictions, and the East is in for an awesome season, because of Tennessee and perhaps Florida battling all the way to the end for the trip to Atlanta.
SEC WEST
1. Alabama: 11-1 (Wins SEC West, yet again)
Alabama won the National Title game vs. Clemson last season, giving Clemson their first defeat of the season. I don't see Bama losing a game this season. Tennessee is at home, though, and I finally expect the Vols to upset Bama, but that won't spoil their SEC Championship hopes. Bama goes 11-1, and wins the SEC West.
2. Ole Miss: 10-2 (7-1 SEC)
Ole Miss is in for another great season due to their remarkable passing game and fast defense. With losses to FSU and Alabama, expect Mississippi to start off slow, but win out the rest of the season and finish 10-2.
3. Arkansas: 6-6 (2-6 SEC)
Arkansas is in for another rough year. Despite being #1 in total offense last season, they lost some games they very easily could have won. The Hogs will upset TCU, but will lose to Texas A&M, Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, LSU and MIssissippi State, putting them at 6-6.
4. LSU: 10-2 (6-2 SEC)
LSU is in for a great year. They didn't end the 2015 season the way they wanted to, but Fournette, in his supposed final season, will lead the tribe for the bayou bengals again. Losses at Florida and vs Alabama will leave the Tigers at 10-2 this year.
5. Texas A&M: 7-5 (3-5 SEC)
A&M is likely to have the same season as last year. With the seat heating up for Sumlin, the pressure is on him to get his Aggies in respectable function again. The Aggies will lose to Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and LSU, putting them at 7-5.
6. Mississippi State: 9-3 (6-2 SEC)
Bulldogs are coming out of their kennels, because it's going to be a better year for Mississippi State. No Prescott? Doesn't matter. Mullen is a great coach who will rebuild this team. Losses to Alabama, BYU and LSU will put the Bulldogs at 9-3.
7. Auburn: 6-6 (2-6 SEC)
Auburn is in for another long year. Muschamp's defense was not on point this year, and the pressure is on their new defensive coordinator to quickly revive the defense before it's too late. Losses to Clemson, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia and Alabama will put the Tigers at 6-6 this season.
SEC EAST
1. Florida: 10-2 (7-1 SEC)
Florida surprised a lot of people last season, even with the struggling offense. Del Rio looked extremely sharp in the spring game, and that could very well lead to awesome improvements in the Gator offense. With close losses to Tennessee and FSU, this year's offense could score at least 25 points per game, leading to a 10-2 year.
2. Tennessee: 11-1 (Wins SEC East)
Wake up Vols Nation, the hype is real. It could very well be your year. You will beat Florida, Alabama, and win the SEC East by 1 game, and maybe beat Alabama again in the SEC Championship. 11-1 season for you, Vols.
3. Georgia: 9-3 (6-2 SEC)
Georgia is in for a great season. Smart will make the Georgia defense basically the "rabies" virus quickly. Losses to North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida will put the Bulldogs at 9-3 this season.
4. Vanderbilt: 3-9 (0-8 SEC)
Mason's seat is about to hit 100 degrees, as Vanderbilt is set up for another bad season. The Dores' will lose to South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mizzou, and Tennessee for a disappointing 3-9 season.
5. Kentucky: 6-6 (3-5 SEC)
Kentucky should have the manpower to make their first bowl game since 2010 this season. Defense has always been pretty stout. Losses to Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Louisville should lead the Cats to a 6-6 season, with the biggest upset of the SEC being Georgia.
6. Missouri: 3-9 (0-8 SEC)
Missouri's new head coach has some rebuilding to do if they want to even think about making a bowl game. The offense was absolutely pitiful last season. The Tigers will lose to West Virginia, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt for a 3-9 season.
7. South Carolina: 7-5 (4-4 SEC)
South Carolina, you're looking at a big improvement this season. Muschamp, so far, seems promising, as your offense looked pretty stout in the spring game. With losses to Mississippi State, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Clemson, you'll be looking at 7-5, which is way better than 3-9.
