Kent scored more than 7 points on the road once in six games last year but you think their team total will be 14.5 at Penn St? They scored 15 points total in 5 of those road games lol

You clearly don't know how this works. If the spread is 18 and the total is 45 they are saying Penn State is going to win by a score of something along the lines of 31.5–13.5.
So yes in fact the total will be somewhere around 13, 13 1/2, 14, 14.5.
The total of this game has not been released yet. I was taking an educated guess on what the total might be. The total could be 52 1/2 who knows.

If I see anything more than 7 for the Kent state tt, I might play the under. If it's more than 10, I'm definitely playing it. 14.5 and my eyes would pop outta my head

I don't know how this works? Lol. Total could easily be 37. I can guarantee you kents team total won't be more than 10.

Sure it could be 37, but I'm assuming it's going to be 45 and therefore the total would be 14 or 14 1/2. Guaranteeing that Ken's team total will be no more than 10, is a very foolish proposition

with a total of 45 . I would think the Kent St total will be 13.5 or less .... I cant see odds makers putting the total on the side of 14.5
I agree with this. If 45, then that initial Algebra looks a little off on the preferred side of key # 14. To get U14.5 will likely cost you some juice.
I do agree that in Week 1, the Kent State TT will not be single digits. Probably somewhere between 10.5 and 13.5. Full game total between 40 and 44 is my guess.
Some new coordinators coaching in this game have not been mentioned yet. And I think S. Barkley's explosiveness may be the deciding factor on the O/U result. Gotta lean Under with these two teams, but if PSU were to win 35-10 and the Over hits it wouldn't be that big of a surprise; much maligned offense finds its way with Barkley leading the way. It's still under or pass, don't get me wrong.

under 46 looks like the play here, penn st won't show a whole lot here on either side the ball with Pitt on deck, my guess is 27-7ish type of ugly game
