N Texas is well coached though with marginal talent...
I have made a promise to myself (and Wise, you need to keep me to it) to not bet Texas. I am a Homer, and with a new coach it is hard to predict how they will come out.
One concern that I would have is Strong's ATS record at Lou, 26-25-1, not exactly predictable...and as a home favorite, 9-15 ATS...again, he does not come across as someone who goes out of his way to cover...with new systems, new coaches, offset by a new tough attitude, could make a cover on this matchup go either way. In addition, it will depend on the health of QB Ash. If the guy is healthy and on, Texas should easily cover, (cause the Texas D is going to be good). If we have another QB, all bets are off.
Again, no play for me, for obvious reasons, but I encourage you to look at the matchup closely and see if there is value there.

@ smarterthanyou
the reason I say it is sharp is I give Texas a power rating of 123.50 plus homefield of 4.25 =127.75 minus North Texas's rating of 100.25 127.75 - 100.25 = 27.50....actual line is - 26.5...thus too close to play
