With that schedule and need to rebuild, I'd give them a 1/6 chance at best.

Then they would have to win / beat....

@ Kentucky  (nation's most dominated series?)


@ MIzz  (off @ Vandy > @Ga > Fla > HC v SCaro)

Auburn (off @ Ark / Ga sandwich)

So not that much of a stretch really....plus they might could catch flaky azz Georgia off LSU....which either a big win there....or a loss actually....might make Ga vulnerable....
  *a loss > (should) make them 2-2....or maybe even 1-3.....having played Clemson and S Caro > burst bubble effect

well jwheels i'm going to do my predictions threads on every conference in 2 months but i believe Tennessee will be a bowl team this year. And i have something to say to Tennessee fans if you think you "settled" for Butch Jones you are sadly mistaken. You made a very good hire. jwheels keep your eye on the Mizzou game. Had tennessee beaten Mizzou LY they would've been in a bowl

jwheels since you live in SEC country and played in the SEC i'll ask you a question. I believe Every SEC team will lose at least 1 conference game this year. Agree or Disagree?

Tenn is going to get destroyed by Oregon and Fla.   I'd say its 50/50 that they will go 500...Getting to a bowl in BJ year 1 would be impressive...

I just don't see who they can lose to in the regular season, their schedule is easy… they picked up UK and UT while everyone else had tougher draws. Atlanta might be the only chance against USC or UF because they have the horses physically.

yea but they don't play UGA, USCe or UF… It would make their schedule tougher to mix those teams in.. Not UK and UT

Especially since Spurrier has Sabans number

The winner of the Tennessee/Auburn game will probably become bowl eligible.  The loser probably won't.

i bet you say the same damn thing every single year but they have only 1 undefeated season out of 6 seasons under saban

Tenn wont go bowling IMO..This guy Butch lost to Dooley.He inherited a Cincy program in good shape.Lets say they win 3 nonconf games...Im sorry I dont think they win 3 SEC games,but Id say 50-50 on bowling.Tenn fans keep screaming about having the #1 2014 recruiting class.Ready to see what Butch does.This aint the BigEasy BigEAST..this is the MNF of College Football..THE SEC

Nothing's easy when teams play Alabama, they play better then they played anybody so they can tell their grandkids.

It's hard to say what will happen at Tenn this year with a 1st year coach and staff, from what i seen of their spring game they need to work on their defense.

I think Tenn has 5 wins, 5 losses, and 2 tossups (Vandy and Missou).  Even with all the coaching turnover, they have a lot of talent up and down the roster.  

Here would be my season wins lines:

over 6 -110
under 6 -110

over 6.5 +200
under 6.5 -220
