Yagobi - That was the opening number at BetOnline. I think it only lasted for like five minutes.

Turnstone
- CANNOT wait for CBB. Already looked at the schedule for the first week. Some awesome matchups. Plus, lots of anticipation building for my Hawks.

Magic_Steam - that had to be a listing error. No other explanation.

Syracusejoe
- points taken and good info. I anticipate both teams made significant improvements during the bye week, but Pitt's potential for growth is much higher. Could be a real barnburner.

RJ - I'm having trouble pulling the trigger. Line came out shorter than I expected. Probably ends up being a no-play.

Injuries on both sides, but Khaled Holmes? Yikes. See article below. Also, USC has no depth -> going into altitude from SoCal = fatigue. I'll be on the money line here, too.

Is that Utah QB any good? I'd feel better if Wynn was in.

Good luck with Uconn, I watched their game versus Buffalo, and Uconn would have covered had they not given up a TD on a trick play when Buffalo was 3rd and long.

I love the Uconn defense, but their offense is brutal. The passing game has been getting better though. Could be a defensive battle this weekend vs. Rutgers

Wynn retired. His shoulder is shot. I don't think you want him in the game at this point...

Mariner - All double-digit dogs, meaning any of them could be blown out. I think the "safest" is Iowa State.

Gators - I would pass. Too many key numbers missed.

Interesting that Pittsburgh has moved to a pick 'em. Didn't think it would get lower then 2.

99% certain that one of the tout services released Syracuse as a play. A bunch of the lines jumped really quickly.

I would jump all over Miss State, I know some sites honor what you put in even if it is a mistake on there part..

A question for you guys...what do you like about North Texas?
I know Houston is not very good...but they played La. Tech pretty close, so the UNT playing K-State well logic doesn't quite jive with me.
I like the idea of them getting DD, but just thought I'd see what you all thought of them.

WOW!!!  Glad to see you are on the BC/Army over.  I like that play quite a bit as well.  In fact I started a thread on it.  Check it out here.

I had UNT +28 against KState, but that was just a complete fade of the Wildcats in the middle of a wicked Miami-Oklahoma sandwich. Houston finally looked "good" last week against a Rice squad playing without its most important player (dual-threat QB McHargue). UNT has a capable duo on offense with Thompson and Chancellor and has upgraded its talent level in every season under McCartney. IMO, this line is where it is based on name recognition alone.

Again, the "movement" in Pitt-Syracuse was very likely prompted by a tout service. Many outlets release their plays on Wednesday and lines don't normally shift that quickly, even for injury.
