I think it will be something like 45-7, BG might not score at all unless our offense gives them one.

JW, you're right... 2 years ago UF laid a huge egg against Miami, Oh... they couldn't even get the ball from the center to the QB... that  performance was brutal enough to count twice in my memory... i stayed away last year because of that game... you think UF is gonna smoke BG this year?

yep two years ago it was bad, but to say that you need to see a good performance in week 1 to get rid of all the times they "garbage the bed against weeker competition" is just plain foolish.

I think BG covers the number, and i think they score at least 14 points doing so, but your reasoning sucks big time as to why they will do so while i actually have something pertinant to say about the game.

Can't wait for the season to start!

Boom - I look forward to your weekly write ups...always entertaining.

I agree with you on GT and NCSU, I think they both could win SU, and also lean towards Vandy.

But I'm leaning the other way on Mich St & Mich.

Boise has gotten to the point that they are always good, and the last time they lost by 7+pts was 2007.  I think they keep it close especially with all summer to prepare.

And I don't think Michigan has the horses to hang with Bama for 4 qtrs.  They over achieved last year and pulled a few wins out of their behind (see ND & VT).  They take a step back this year record wise, though I think Hoke has them headed in the right direction.  Bama wins this one in a 28-10 type of game.

GL man

Capper I live near Clemson and follow them very closely! Yes losing Sammy for the auburn game is a shame but this team is loaded at wide receiver like no other team in America rank them in top 3 depth chart at that position. I have Clemson capped winning this game by dd 14+ every angle I used to approach this game. This is not a homer play for me as they are my team I am in this to make money like everyone else. Vegas must not think its to big of a deal either as you could get Auburn future bet at +6 so there is a fg difference bc of a star player being out.

I agree.  I still think Clemson wins this by DD.  This will be more of a fade Auburn play for me.

The contest...I didn't ask about it because I don't have 1000 posts...one of your early rules. (I say early because I just popped in and noticed you tweaked the rules a bit...)

Anyway...I'll hang out and watch the contest this year...and come up with the gameplan to win it in 2013.

...Never to early for 2013 smack talk...
