#3 Posted: 1/27/2012 3:12:08 PM DoubleUp4Life does not support child rape. He is an example of a great person, and a great American. Unlike a guy who placed more importance on winning football games than stopping child rape in his locker room.
I salute you, sir. |

yet another feeble attempt by our "blame free" society *not you specifically D-UP...but everyone
to tear down one of our "heroes".... "hey look everybody...Paterno's very human....a simple everyday fool just like you and me"!......ha *if you want to hold him accountable...OK ....and he was.....as he was fired...but he should NOT....be held responsible.....as those children were NOT entrusted to his care
Wanna blame someone?......personally see no reason to blame anyone other than Sandusky......but strange the PARENTS are never mentioned....let's blame EVERYBODY but the parents.....as we most are...or will be....parents ourselves ....it just can't be our fault can it?......... *yes these kids were "at risk"....not orphans....nor raised in a petri dish...my daughter ends up on a stripper pole....ouch....it's MY FAULT
And the other to blame?....the BIG ONE.....to you religious types.......and you are one of those right Double-Up????????? *not religious myself...but lessee here..... God controls EVERYTHING correct?.....not one single thing EVER happens without his knowledge....or direction......correct?.....that's why most everybody prays correct?..... SO....if that Sandusky is banging young boys....it CANNOT happen without the knowledge.....and/or blessing of God....correct?....sorry I'm learning here
Since I have the Senior and Super Bowl figured out....we can now break down the blame game here....using plain common sense......and the above .....no doubt very unpopular.....ideas.......
1) God.....sorry must be...as always....to remove from the list is an admission that he is in fact not in charge.....here he CLEARLY wanted these young boys to get RAPED by Sandusky....or else it would NOT have happened...............................................right? 2) Sandusky 3) PARENTS of these kids 4) McQueary.....and the janitor that actually witnessed the sexual contact 5) the 2nd mile foundation...the children were left in their care...therefore their responsibility at that time 6) local authorities 7) Penn St administration 8) those individuals involved .....in 2nd mile.....or PSU.....like Paterno....or anyone that suspected something was up....yet did not take the initiative |

I think you have done a great job displacing blame with your long list of people who could be responsible other than Jeo. While you are at it, why don't you just go ahead and blame the kids too? I am sure they were asking for it in some way right?

#8 Posted: 1/27/2012 11:02:50 PM Clearly, when a jerk like this makes up this kind of thread, after the guy is dead and gone and a bunch of much more credible people than this dope double up for life vouch for Paterno's honor, it shows you this clown has an agenda. You hate Joe, we get it. You never liked him or Penn State, fine. It's your right to be an idiot, too.
Classless people like keep throwing around terms like "child rape." The facts are that Paterno was never told a "rape" was occurring. Even McQueary admits that. Grow up, you tool.
The problem is that you just think we're all irrational Penn Staters
blinded by some form of misguided hero worship. The actual truth is that
we're the only ones who care enough to actually read and understand the
entire story and form our own opinions instead of just blindly eating
and regurgitating the story that the media tries to spoon-feed, like
you're doing. Once you actually dig into what's going on, you start to
ask yourself questions like "If Paterno was trying to cover this up and
protect Sandusky, why would he tell anyone anything?". Phil Knight had
it right. There was a truckload of people that had a crack at stopping
Sandusky years ago, from Janitors, to the State College DA, to Curley
& Schultz, all the way up to Graham Spanier. None of those people
did anything. Paterno and McQueary were literally the only ones who even
attempted to get this looked at. You can have your opinions all you
want, but if your opinions are based on half-truths and interpretations
instead of the actual story, and you decide to broadcast those opinions
on the internet, you should expect to be called out on

the only person that must be added to this list is tom corbett. he was a major problem and could have done more than anyone mentioned due to his political status...and did not until the time served him. and he used the timing to enhance his position. |

ERrrrr......I said I blame Sandusky ONLY....... so simply poking fun at the common loser types that search who they can blame/drag down......because they don't have the smarts.....and nuts to focus on the actual parties responsible...... *in this case ....the parent(s) entrusted the care of their children to Sandusky and the 2nd Mile Foundation....so CLEARLY these are the responsible parties......simply because a very (loosely connected) party (Paterno)......happens to be famous.....doesn't make him responsible for these children

we just have to disagree
seems like you are placing blame everywhere but on Joe Pa
He Runs the whole show there in Happy Valley .....
He should shoulder MOST of the blame other than Sandusky ....
IMAGINE IF JOE PA CALLED 911 HIMSELF ...EVERY COP IN THE STATE WOULD HAVE RESPONDED IN MINUTES |

This just showed me.
One is your an attention person, your ugly face reared its head again with mega capped fonts, filled with colors. Pathetic.
But most of all, this shows how out of touch with the situation you are and you have no clue of what you are talking about. First off, why would Joe Paterno or anyone hearing second hand of what McQueary told him (which Mcqueary made clear was not rape) call an emergency hotline?
Secondly, if 911 was called, the only police that would show up, like in any other community would be the police with jurisdiction. Because that is the law and why we have laws. And since the head of campus police, the only police who have jurisdiction on penn state campus, per pennsylvania state law, was notified of this by Joe Paterno, not Mike Mcqueary (the one who was an eye witness to "horseplay", it was on the police to act.
It is now clear as day you have no idea what you are talking about on top of being someone who has a lifetime of hate for Joe Paterno.
And to call anyone s who defends Joe Paterno child molesters and child enablers is a complete moron and is basically calling the entire football community, names which i have mentioned numerous times who have defended his honor, the same.
You are pathetic, and you have done nothing but try to slander the name of a great man on covers while doing absolutely nothing to help the cause of our societies problem and awareness on child molestation. You are scum of the earth and a doubleupdouche4life!

It's called the five stages of grief. Unfortunately, many people cannot get past the denial stage. |

#23 Posted: 1/29/2012 7:43:55 PM First of all....I know many here are 20ish....meaning you don't know very much sorry........every old fart like me was once a 20 yr old genius.........others.....just grinding this garbage out....as a little man...powerless (in your own mind).... to change ANYTHING....you of course love to take shots at those that have the guts to try and make a difference....like Paterno....when you yourself have seldom taken a stand ....or made any sacrifices......your entire life
Once again....for the more (deliberately?) obtuse..... Sandusky is the ONLY one to blame...... However....if for some reason you must point more fingers.....why?.......it's gotta be the parents next Because they deliberately did something wrong?... no .....but because parents are responsible for the safety of their kids...........PERIOD *NO shock this is news to most of the ENTITLED PUSSIES here..... who ME responsible for MY KIDS? holy garbage!.....you mean I can't blame the teacher...or coach?......or Mike Vick?....or PacMan Jones?....
Wake the darn up.....this is (arguably) our most serious issue as a nation today....way too many folks having kids they have no interest in raising....these kids were "at risk"......because one/both of their parents did not do their job...that's why they were at 2nd Mile to begin with....and that led them to Sandusky... **certainly not (necessarily) their fault ...they needed help...
Once again....sorry if this very ugly shoe fits.... Many of your parents fit this description.....and many/most of you are raising your own kids the exact same way ......so no surprise the reluctance to be accountable for your kids.....strange to admit it this publicly......even here on Covers
*in case some haven't noticed....my responses seldom deal directly with the issue at hand.....but more in depth ones the topic might suggest

seems like YOU.....as a (supposed)..... proud Black man raising a family .....would WANT to step out and declare YOURSELF..... the SOLE responsibility for the welfare of your OWN kid(s) ....although totally your OWN business.....if you want to do it HALF-behind....like everybody else....go right ahead.....
*your daughter ends up on that stripper pole.........I guess you will blame her mom...or go punch the guy that hired her......just like any ordinary jack-behind would
