A special darn you to Ice4Blood, Eddie, Fried Shrimp.
As for the game: It went ALMOST exactly as I said it would. I figured we would have a bit more production in the red zone. We certainly had more than the first game. We went far enough for our kicker to get in a good range, and oh boy what an amazing run by Trent to seal his season! As for the defense, it's simple and obvious. They didn't have a plan for Jefferson in the first game, and they did in this one. They DARED LSU to run the ball, and they just shut their fools DOWN!
You all better have paid attention, because you just witnessed one of the greatest defenses in College Football History!
I am just so proud of my Tide. There were a ton of you morons out there who didn't give Bama a chance, but look who came out on top! ROLL TIDE ROLL!
Finallly, to all my supporters out there. Thank you! It's been a great season, and I will miss you all. I look forward to next season! BOL!

As I was saying... We just had a plan for Jefferson this time, and I was so proud of our offense. Execution, and play calling were the difference.
It's been a fun season Teaser, and I can't wait for next. BOL bro!

footnote, Honey Badger got exposed last night ,,, he is probably not even 5'9" . great return man but a little on the short side. |

As much as I hate to say it, because I never want to see anyone get hurt, but Maze getting injured was the best thing that happened to us. Aj is too much like GMac, and sticks to a single target, and is bad about checking down. With that first option gone, it opened the field for our other receivers, and that is how we exposed their secondary. As you said, the badger is a bit small, and we used that to our advantage last night.
And you are right... Aj could have one more national title in him before it is all said and done. Not next year I don't think, but I think we will have a great chance the season after next. |
