How on earth can they even be considered Co-Champs.  Bama should've won the first game, and they showed in this game why theyre the national championship by allowing under 100 yards of total offense.  They dominated plain and simple

A win is a win and a loss is a loss...if they played again and LSU won 3-0 and Bama missed 10 FGs, would Bama still be the better team? LSU had the best season...SEC Champs, SEC West Champs...Bama didnt even win the division in the conference...

Im an Oklahoma St Alum and ill be the first to say OK St would have been destroyed by LSU and wouldn't have had a team to take the field against Bama.  Bama deserved this shot at redemption and they took full advantage of it.  Congrats Crimson Tide on your NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.  Best D to play NCAA Football i can remember in a long time.

I couldn't agree more... This will truly go down as one of the greatest defenses in all of college football HISTORY!

Oregon or STANFORD would have at least made 200 yards

I wouldn't say jealous... But they definitely realize that Bama is about to draft at least 6 players in THE FIRST ROUND, and at least 2 in the second, which will set a new record.

I agree,,, When we first lost to LSU earlier this season, I was excited to see something like LSU/Ok st or Stanford, and Bama/Boise... However, I put my selfish thoughts behind me, and determined that the two best teams should play each other, and they did, and the best team won.

Tappy-

Your offensive coordinator did call a good game. They had almost 400 yards against a damn good LSU defense. That defense was off balance all night. I know you hate him and he will be gone next year so you don't have to worry about his behind. But give him a little credit tonight at least.

Congrats again- looking foward to it next year!!

Just wondering - they(ESPN) just flashed that this was Bama's 9th National Championship- was that an error or do they have 14?
