Going to introduce a new grading system to present my picks. Thinking an A/B/C system or percentile system. The scoring is based upon the criteria I look for. If they have an advantage on 8/10 of criteria it would be a B and A if 9/10 or 10//10.

Yesterday was a mediocre day (2-2), although I cannot complain. Detroit loss was only by one and the orioles under was looking good until the 2nd out in the 9th when a 3 run home run was hit. Probabilityof that happening is low, so I am not sweating.

The new layout of heads up picks will be Grade/Pick. Over unders have no grade and therefore will not include a pick.
Grade Description: The model is set up in two manners. One runs it on a non-normalized manner, while the other runs it on a normalized manner. Rescaling everything on an identical metric. I take the average between the two to get to a score. My personal belief is that the normalized is a better predictor but I do not want to make that definitive until I see how it performs against the non-normalized.
Grade A: The average between the two models is greater than 90%
Grade B: The average between the two is between 80-90%
Grade B-: Average score between the two is between 75-80%

Yesterday was another mediocre day. Cubs hit 4 runs in the 11th inning and the royals games pushed due to suspension. Luckily, no high juice games killed us. We went 4-3-1 and still made money on an equivalent unit bets.

For today, I may not be able to run all games. Short on time to pull the data. I managed to run the early games but will see if I have any time to rerun the later games.
April 25 Picks (ran only 5 games):
Grade / Pick
B / Orioles ML
B- / Braves
Model also gave a B- for Rays but that is too much juice for me to take. So that is up to your discretion.

Awesome picks and great record. Have you ever done a ytd based on the grades. Like A picks record are, B picks record are? Just curious. Anyhow, thanks for sharing your system picks. Helps me when I'm trying to pick games

I have given it thought, but no. I plan on incorporating it into my excel record keeper thought for my personal record keeping. However, I do not plan on including it in the forum posts until I have a large enough sample size and that is if it shows a correlation with grade and winning percentage.
