Looks like holding out last season and signing a 1 year deal with the Braves didn't hurt him here. I think it's fair for him. He has pitched well over the past few seasons but does have a history of inconsistency. He also showed inconsistency with the Braves but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, having held an ERA under 4 in 3 of his last 4 seasons with 3 different teams. Plus his 3.24 ERA in the AL Central in 2013 with the Royals.
The Twins still have a very questionable rotation with Hughes, Nolasco and Gibson in there with Milone, May and Pelfrey in the mix, too. I can't look at that team and see anything to get excited about, though.

I agree with you guys, a nice signing but once again, no top of the rotation starter. Molitor may get some inspired play his first year at the helm, but that will wear off and he will start tiring, which I believe happened to Gardenhire. He was a very good, if not great manager, that just got tired trying to win with a AAA payroll and team.
