I miss the baseball season already. What do you want your team to do in the offseason? Please be realistic.

Even if Romero doesn't return to form, the Jays are realistically a top end of the rotation pitcher from the playoffs. We have so many assets we should have no problem making a trade if free agency is a failure.

If Romero doesn't return to form they are a lot further than just one top end starter from the playoffs....

They've been a top 5 offense for 3 years now. They have good pitchers to fill in 3-5. The bullpen problems are fixed for the most part. What makes you say they're more than 1 starter away?

Blue Jays have had a bad case of injuries the past few seasons. I would really like to see them healthy in 2013.

Because if Romero is done then they are left with Morrow and Alvarez as the only starters you could truly count on, and I'm not even that sold on Alvarez (but that's just me). I know they got a few up and coming arms like Drabek but then they gotta rely on him to be the number 3 or 4 starter for the entire season.

I think Toronto could get both Greinke and David Ortiz.

Ortiz is close to re-signing in Boston for 2 years, plus the Red Sox would never let the Jays sign him.

Cheers to San Fran2012 WS Champs

The padres just moved in the fences and moved the visitor bullpen. Hopefully it doesn't come out of the payroll because last time I checked. A $55 mill pay roll doesn't cut it when the average payroll is $100 mill. John Moores profited way to much money off this team.

Giancarlo Stanton would be nice in Right Field at Petco Park.

I think the Padres should take a look at Jeremy Guthrie, Brandon McCarthy, or Shaun Marcum. Any thoughts on those? I think the Padres are pretty much set in the outfield.

Angels wish list: resign Torii Hunter and Greinke. Fix the bullpen.

Hunter, may be able to get a better deal elsewhere I would love to see him back with the Halos for a year or two.

Greinke will command a high price. What's another 20-24 million when the payroll is already out of control?

Bullpen needs a real closer too many blown saves last year. Not sure who is availble there.

Guess I was wrong. Looks like the Blue Jays are going to target Ryan Dempester and Edwin Jackson.

I read something last week Thursday that the Angels aren't going to resign Hunter...they want to focus on pitching.

As for a closer it depends on what the Angels wanna do. I think they could make a possible trade for Chriz Perez or maybe Joel Hanrahan.

The Padres need two starters. Guthrie is over paid. The other two would be alright.
Who is set in Right Field? Josh Hamilton or Giancarlo Stanton or Shin Soo Choo would be huge.

As of now Venable...probably not the answer you want though. I don't think he is the answer...but how much are the Padres going to spend in the offseason?

yea get SS and C.

Drew option is declined but they try to negotiate again. Would love Beane to work his 3-way trade magic handing us Asdrubal with Elvis going to Cleveland.

Gomes most likely not re-signed. would love to get BMac re-signed.

Catcher spot.. Napoli, but that's hard to get.

Any thoughts on the Chris Young trade they made?

I just want Hamilton out. I think we deal Andrus for David Price. Or sign Edwin Jackson. Bottom line you will not see a Andrus/Kinsler middle infield next year. I would love to see Kinsler dealt for a pitcher and have an Adrus/Profar infield.
