#101 Posted: 10/13/2012 6:36:56 PM Whip isn't apart of the sheets...here is some information about these various stats.
SIERA Skill Interactive ERA- what is the underlying skill level of this pitcher,
Excellent 2.90 Great 3.25 Above Average 3.75 Average 3.90 Below Average 4.20 Poor 4.50 Awful 5.00
FIP Fielding Independent Pitching (FIP) measures what a player’s ERA should have looked like over a given time period more effective than ERA in terms of predicting future performance FIP helps you understand how well a pitcher pitched, regardless of how well his fielders fielded Excellent 2.90 Average 4.00 Awful 5.00
xFip - Expected Fielding Independent Pitching (xFIP) is a regressed version of FIP. It’s calculated in the same way as FIP, except it replaces a pitcher’s home run total with an estimate of how many home runs they should have allowed. Excellent 2.90 Great 3.25 Above Average 3.75 Average 4.00 Below Average 4.20 Poor 4.50 Awful 5.00

What I meant to say is that it was wise for si1ly not to make the Cardinals an official play despite them winning. Luck was a big factor in that win and if you bet under the same circumstances ten times you'll might come up on the short end.

#108 Posted: 10/14/2012 9:27:22 AM How pathetic are Yankee fans? Booing their team, leaving early. Extra inning game 1 of the ALCS on a SAT nite and nobody there? I was always under the impression that this was a great baseball city. I'm baffled to be honest. I understand they are frustrated but.. How do you leave with the Tiger bullpen coming in? They obviously know NOTHING about the game they are watching and paid good money to see.
sorry ..just ranting
home field adv was a huge factor in the plays I made yesterday.. and there was none really

Not in baseball playoffs.
People put too much stock into home field advantage. |

First of all, great job you are doing here.
I am wondering if you keep track of your winnings and plays.
Thanks in advance. |

#121 Posted: 10/16/2012 1:23:38 AM I'm sorry I didn't get the game up today. I meant to do it, but I forgot to post. Got a little distracted at work and with MNF. I'll have tomorrow's sheets up as soon as I can in the morning. |

Looks good. Yankees have a lot of line value (about 35 cents on the dollar) and with these two offenses ranked #1 / #2 in the MLB against righties I see no reason why this total should be below 8. I really like the over. |
