It's a bet against the Padres as much as it is to play Dickey. San Diego is simply a bad team with a mediocre starter on the mound tonight.

OAKLAND As -160
Over the past few years, I have had good success betting on young Oakland A's pitchers. Here we go again.

And it does not hurt that the opposing starter is Cecil. For some reason, Cecil has had good success against the A's, but overall he is a 4.5 ERA on the road.
