#103 Posted: 4/23/2012 2:55:07 PM ^^ I didn't keep a record. I probably lost a bit due to running hot in the NBA playoffs and giving some back on coin flip MLB bets, as well as chasing losses on some bad streaks and drunk betting. I wanted to track my record this year to keep myself more in line with money management. My units are $50, so chasing losses with little research can be costly. I definitely believe I can make a profit betting baseball though. Good luck to you this season, especially if you decide to tail any picks.
I'll have the rest of my crap for today up in a bit, nothing stands out much to me, might have a couple 2 unit plays. |

#105 Posted: 4/23/2012 3:40:46 PM ^^No offense taken. I can't say I usually do this well, I'm on a pretty nice streak here. I don't expect to continue at this pace, but I do expect to slowly and steadily accumulate units throughout the season.
When I'm running this hot I like to ride the wave and make quite a few plays, so it can be a lot of fun. I will pick my spots a little bit more carefully when variance is getting the better of me, but besides the first couple of days with Cain giving up a 4 run lead to the Diamondbacks and the Royals losing 1-0 to the A's on decent sized wagers, it has been smooth sailing. I'm enjoying it while I can, it's a long season that is sure to be full of valleys as well as peaks. Starting hot is always nice.
Cheers! Best of luck today all. |

#111 Posted: 4/24/2012 6:22:14 PM ^^ I play at Pinnacle, 5 dimes, and a local for most of the bets. I play most of the 1st inning props at sportsbook.ag. Which lines were you having trouble finding? Aside from the first inning props, I think all of the lines I posted are the same across most books. |

(a few people were wondering about some of the lines I post, and I'm assuming they were talking about the lines I post for this prop. All are available at sportsbook.ag, and the lines I post for sides and totals are readily available across most main books - pinnacle, 5dimes, bookmaker, betislands, etc.) |

thanks and good luck to you. I don't usually like to lay juice this high, bbut I think the Brewers should win pretty easily here. Among other reasons, Marcum has done very well against the Astros in the past whereas the Brewers have railed Happ (small sample sizes, but look at the head to head stats last season. comical) |

Finally on the end of some tough losses in the WhiteSox and Dodgers, plus playing a bunch of games, I was bound to have a bad losing day. After riding such a hot streak, I am still up over 50 units on the season and actually somehow still showing a profit over the last 3 days. Going to go ahead and take it somewhat easy and pick my spots better the next few days, still probably quite a few plays but no overkill, and heat up again. Today was rough, I can only hope that the rest of the community had some better luck. |

#125 Posted: 4/26/2012 11:41:44 AM ^^ Thanks a lot smoke, best of luck to you this season. I was feeling pretty invincible after such a hot run. It's time to pick my spots a little better, although I still have several plays today.
