Mr. Pettitte (at the age of 38) is off to his best start in his career.

Mariano's velocity (at the age of 40) is better than it's been since the late 90s/early 2000s.

Posada is injury prone and Jeter is Jeter. Can't say anything else about them.

3 years ago they didnt even have a path. Atleast now they have pieces that they are building around and developing for a bright future.

A couple FA signings could change a lot.

Anyone read the article about Nick going and meeting/talking with Peter about spending money? He is starting to take a leadership role... He also called out teammates for going up to the plate and looking like they don't even have a plan or anything when they get up to the plate.

you missed read my point, dipshit (uriss) and yes what i said was incorrect i will admit that but i followed up immediately to say what i meant, which was that we competed with you guys in the 90s when we were spending money...but go ahead and hold me to that comment whenever you post on here...we will how productive our conversations will get....

Of course the Orioles are in last....do we have to reiterate the facts here?  the birds just completed a 4 game sweep of the west leading Rangers....and alot of those players in the lineup started shine.........you can bash the Orioloes all you want for the start they got off to....much of it had to do with injuries, etc.....it would suprise me if they play this way down the strech....

Well...I think you Orioles fans should be thanking me for this. You're very welcome.

You know what's even better though...? Tex is also heating up.

What sucks the most is that he was getting better. He wanted to make it to the All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium. He wanted to make it to the Final Game at the old Yankee Stadium. And he wanted to make it to the opening of the new Yankee Stadium. Never got to do any of them. But seeing him on the screen at the final game of the old Yankee Stadium and saying goodbye to the stadium still gives me goosebumps thinking about it.
