This is the first time the Pens have lost B2B games since Mid-January. The Penguins are 4-1 coming off a loss this post season. Each time they lost to the Rangers and Caps they came back and won. However, they could not do it against Tampa the other night, will they tonight? I think they do.
Did you know each time Tampa won 2 consecutive playoff games against a team they lost the next game? Once they went up 2-0 on Detroit they lost Game 3. After beating Detroit in Games 4&5 they lost the next game against the Islanders. They then went on to win their next 5 playoff matches before losing B2B to the Pens.
In last years Playoffs Tampa had a 3-2 lead against the Rangers and ended up losing Game 6 at home. I watch these two teams and it's hard for me to say that Tampa is a better team. I give them A LOT of credit for making it this far with all their Injuries, they made it much farther then I ever thought they would with no Stamkos and no Bishop. But they are deep and talented and all 4 lines contribute. But so do the Pens and I feel they are the better team.
I really disagree with inserting Fluery in Game 5, I feel this really affected the series and I said immediately following that game that if they continue to play Fluery they will lose. I think Coach Sullivan is a great coach and was long overdue for another shot as the bench boss but I am having a hard time seeing why he gave Murray such a short leash after everything he has done for them AS A ROOKIE. Does he not deserve one mediocre performance? I sure think he does. The good news is Murray is already confirmed in net for Game 6. Just proves it was a boneheaded mistake to play Fluery last game.
**Plus, the public isn't hammering the Pens either, I believe the Pens are around 57% last I checked**

GL Mikey! I'll be rooting for TB tn as I have them to win the series, which after Bishop went down I thought was over! I think Murray comes back in and shows why he should never have gotten pulled. Only thing I worry about is if this whole goalie situation getting in his head.
My pick will be on Over 5.5. I have somewhat of a funny feeling about it but Over 5.5 is 8-2 L10 when these teams play, 3-2 for the series but the total goals scored has gone up by almost 1 goal every game, the exception being the last one (tied with the game before). Both teams are going to score this game but it's which will score more that I don't know!

Thanks JayDubs, nice win on the over. I rarely ever bet O/U in hockey not sure why but I read a lot of info today that leaned towards the over. Maybe next game I'll try and put some money on it. Going to be an interesting game 7. Whether Tampa wins or looses they should not feel bad because I think they did extremely well for a team that lost their captain, starting goalie and a couple of other key pieces during this Stanley cup playoff run. Onto doing some HW for tomorrow's game.

Honestly Mikey, I don't usually like betting totals either unless there's a chance for a push as a little security, which is probably why I play a lot more totals post season as compared to regular season. Ironically I tho I don't think I've had one push this post season yet.
I was listening at work and when that goal got scored by TB so quick I was so happy but when it got called back I thought "oh no there goes the total and my series bet cashing tn because that'll destroy TB mentally. Sure enough it did and going into the third 3-0 I was thought that was done for sure but it's truly amazing how TB got back into that game and caused another 4 goals to be scored. Next game I'm 99% sure I'll roll with Over again I'll post the pick and analysis in your thread thurs if I do. It'll probably be for the same reasons tho lol but I'll find something else most likely going through it.
SJ/STL will be a good one...I'm leaning SJ and Over 5 as of now but I haven't done thorough analysis yet, I can update that tom. Looking forward to reading your analysis tom as well, some of the best on here imo
The playoffs in general are much more fun to handicap for me...
