Honestly, might as well flip a coin to see who wins this game. Probably another OT, probably one of the teams will be up a couple goals and still somehow manage to lose the lead to force OT. Only this game, their is no tomorrow. Home ice has meant nothing this series, visitors have dominated so far. But, home ice matters tonight because of one important factor, the last change. May not make a difference since it hasn't been the deciding factor for the home teams in this series. It's going to come down to a few things for whomever advances: puck luck, lucky bounces and GOALTENDING. Yes, Elliott wasn't at his best but he was pulled for rest as well as a spark. But will it toy with his mind going into game 7? He'll say no and shrug it off but easier said then done. I don't care who goes up 3 goals with a period to go I still wouldn't pick a winner because both teams have the offense to score and comeback to tie it.
The blues just played a grueling 7 game series with the Hawks so they are the more tired team but at this stage they'll find the energy, that depends if it goes into sudden death. If they beat the Hawks in 7 in sure they believe they can do the same with the Stars. Like i said before I had the Stars going to the WCF in my bracket but many times in these playoffs I would think why did I do that when they gave up huge leads and let team such as the Wild come back into important games. No blowout here, probably another right game but the Stats will advance. The home ice will matter in this game. And to think the blues only needed a few more pts to be the top dawgs in the west. I wonder when it's all said and done tomorrow if that would of made any difference.
Stars, Stars, Stars to the WCF to face the Sharks.
